Salesperson Licensing Course (75-hour)

New York State has passed a law increasing the requirement for a Salesperson from a 45-hour course to a 75-hour course efective July 1, 2008. A salesperson license applicant will be required to show proof of completing 75 hours of approved education. Those salesperson applicants who completed the 45-hour salesperson course prior to July 1, 2008 may complete the additional 30-Hour Remedial Qualifying course to satisfy the 75-hour requirement.  

On-site licensing courses are held at GRAR, 930 East Avenue, Rochester, NY, 14607. (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED)  For driving directions, visit our driving directions page.

Tuition for 75-hour Salesperson Qualifying Course: $450

Required Textbook:

The Modern Real Estate Practice in New York State for Salespersons, 10th Ed.  Textbook is required PRIOR to the start of the class, as there is required reading before course begins!  Textbook available at GRAR for $35 (tax included). For an additional $7.00, we will mail your textbook directly to you.

NEW ~ Blended Learning
Tuition for 45-hour classroom course - $250
Students now have the option of dividing their time between classroom-style instruction and online learning, allowing the flexibility of choosing where and when they study. There is a proctored, paper-based final exam requirement for licensing courses (which are taken by appointment at GRAR).

Registration for the 30-Hour Online segment is separate. This portion of the course must be completed within 6 months and may be started before, during or after the 45-hour course. Tuition for the 30 hour online course - $200

When you are ready to register for a course and pay by credit card, you must first log in as a Member with your member IDs or as a Non-Member (by providing your name, mailing address, e-mail address and a password).
