WE NEED YOUR HELP ~ "Call To
Action"
Oppose Further Wetland Regulation
There is an important bill pending in the New York State Senate which will negatively affect housing and commercial real estate development across New York. This bill would expand the state
Department of Environmental Conservation’s (DEC) oversight and regulation of wetlands to include all wetlands of ONE acre or
more.
GRAR is encouraging you to Take Action and tell your State Legislators that you strongly oppose S.4956 (Thompson) as it is unnecessary, overbroad, burdensome and would bring housing and commercial real estate development to a grinding halt.
Make your REALTOR® voice heard and say NO to legislation which discourages investment and improvement in our local communities.
Please click on the TAKE ACTION link below to reach out to your State Assemblymember and Senator and urge them to oppose S.4956 by Senator Antoine Thompson and help defeat this bill before it is too late.
Thank you in advance for your support of this effort!
