Realist2 Public Records System

An upgrade to Realist, our public records system, called Realist2, was made on January 18, 2012. The prior version, now known as Realist Classic, will remain available until about March 1 for those that need more time.  If that is you, once in Realist2, simply click on the Realist Classic link in the upper right to use the old version (you’ll have to do that each time that you want to access Realist Classic).

Realist2 is the much anticipated overhaul of the Realist interface. This new version includes many exciting changes, including:

  • Integrated MLS data, including photos.
  • Ability to search multiple counties at same time.
  • Simplified design with search criteria, map, and results grid all on one page.
  • Automatically run comparable and neighbor searches without entering search criteria (criteria can easily be changed in preferences).
  • Easily save or print labels, maps, or search results.
  • Map overlays for Parcel, Zip code, County, schools, flood zone and neighborhoods.

TROUBLESHOOTING & HELP DOCUMENTS

The first time accessing Realist2 may take a while to appear, depending on the internet connection speed.  This could take 30-60 seconds on slower DSL type connections or a WiFi connection being shared in an office.  After the initial download, there could still be a slight delay when linking over to Realist 2 with a slower connection.

If you access Realist2 and get a message saying you need to install Adobe Flash, that means it is not installed or that it is incorrectly installed. In that case, check if Adobe Flash is installed and, if it is, uninstall it.  See the 'Installing Flash Instruction Guide' below for assistance.

REALIST2 & POP-UP BLOCKERS:

If you have a pop-up blocker or several pop-up blockers enabled, you will need to turn them off or allow pop-ups from MLXchange and Realist for both sites to run properly. This includes any add-on toolbars (e.g., Google, Yahoo, etc.) that you may or may not realize you have running.

To allow Pop-Ups from Realist, in Internet Explorer, go to:

Tools/Pop-Up Blocker/Pop-up blocker Settings (if you cannot select pop-up blocker settings, your pop-ups are likely not being blocked from within Internet Explorer and you need to check your other toolbars (e.g. Google, Yahoo, etc.). To find out what toolbars are running, click on View and then Toolbars. Look for Google, Yahoo and or any other browsers that you may have installed a toolbar for.

Whatever the toolbar, under address of website to allow, add: mls.realist.com and then close.
