If you are a member of an MLS that is not affiliated with the NYS Alliance of MLS’s (NYSAM), you may be able to list a property in the NYSAM Multiple Listing Service for a fee using the Reciprocal Listing program. GENRIS currently has reciprocal listing agreements with several other MLS’s in New York State (for a current list, see below). If you are a participant in one of these MLS’s, you may submit a listing to us for a fee, and we will enter it into the MLS for you.
Similarly, if you are a GENRIS MLS Participant and wish to gain increased exposure for a listing, you may contact any of the organizations below to see how to proceed to get your listing added to its MLS databases.
What does it cost?
There is a $50 fee for each reciprocal listing.
How do I get started?
Verify that your MLS has a reciprocal agreement with GENRIS (see below). If so, please fill out a GENRIS Data Input Sheet for the appropriate Property Type (forms available here) ensuring all 'required' fields are completed. Please note that GENRIS requires that a primary photo, showing the exterior front of the property, be attached to the listing within 24 hours of being added to MLS. You may e-mail up to 25 photos per listing to grarhelpdesk@grar.net.
