Why Join GRAR?

Founded in 1911, GRAR has remained true to its Mission of providing resources, promoting professionalism, advancing real property rights, and positioning its Members for success.

As a GRAR Member and Multiple Listing Participant, you will have access to the most current properties for sale or rent, covering a service area of eleven counties in the Greater Rochester area.

Membership also:

  • Demonstrates your commitment to be a real estate professional.
  • Affords you access to a multitude of programs and services that will enhance your career and business as they have been designed especially with you and your professional success in mind. For example, the Rookie Program is for those members who have 4 years or less experience in the real estate field, and are looking for ways to jump-start their career.
  • Includes membership in the New York State Association of REALTORS (NYSAR) and the National Association of REALTORS (NAR). NAR represents more than 1.1 million REALTORS who engage in all aspects of the real estate industry, including renting; leasing; appraising; financing; building, developing and managing, making it the largest and most influential professional trade organizations in the country.
  • Gives you access to a wide variety of information sources, designed to help keep you up-to-speed in today’s rapidly changing business environment.

If you are interested in becoming a member of GRAR, you will need to:

  1. Provide a copy of NYS license or Letter of Authorization (for REALTOR and REALTOR-ASSOCIATE membership only).
