Meet Our Instructors

Anne Peterson

Anne Peterson is a licensed real estate broker and was active in residential sales for over 15 years in the Syracuse area. She also held senior positions in residential lending before relocating to Rochester as the Executive Director of The Housing Council. Under contract with GRAR, in 1998 Anne oversaw a major fair housing testing audit of local GRAR members to identify gaps in local Realtor@ education programs.

Anne is a recipient of the GRAR Honor Society Award. She was a founding member of the Realtors Charitable Foundation and served on the Board of Directors from 2000 to 2008.

Anne is a licensed real estate broker, a certified fair housing trainer and tester and is certified to teach real estate qualifying and continuing education classes. She holds an M.A. in Public Administration from Syracuse University. Her real estate column, Apartments, appears weekly in the Democrat and Chronicle.

She loves everything about real estate and housing – from sales to studies.

GRAR Online Salesperson’s Licensing Course 

The Greater Rochester Association of REALTORS® is proud to announce our new online school.  Presently we are offering the 75-hour Salesperson’s Course and 30-Hour Remedial Course. Broker's licensing and CE courses are being developed for the future.  See more details.
